October Book Challenge Update
Things really slowed down for me reading-wise in the month of October. Part of it is just plain burnout from reading so much these last few months, and part of it was that I read a very long book (1400+ pages) that took me some time. No matter the dip in the number of books read this month- I still thoroughly enjoyed my reading time!
For those of you who missed my initial post on this topic, I have decided to embark on a most enjoyable challenge to read 100 books in 2014. I have chosen to participate in the Goodreads 2014 Reading Challenge in which I select my own goal. Each month I will give you an update on where I am in the challenge and what books I was lucky enough to indulge in. I’ll also include a purchase link for each book in case you would like to pick a read up for yourself.
In the month of October I have read five books, and according to the graph on Goodreads, I am at 98% of my goal and am fifteen books ahead of schedule. With a 100-book goal for the year, I’m set to reach and surpass my goal in the upcoming month of November!
This past month I have read the following books:
2K to 10K: Writing Faster, Writing Better, and Writing More of What You Love by Rachel Aaron (NO REVIEW)
As usual, I welcome your book recommendations!
