Mixed martial arts fighter Reid Andrews’s chance to reclaim his title as light heavyweight champ is shattered when he’s injured only months before the rematch. To make sure he’s healed in time, his trainer sends him to recuperate under a professional’s care—Reid’s best friend’s little sister, all grown up.
Disorganized and bookish Lucie Miller needs some professional help of her own. She’d do anything to catch the eye of a doctor she’s crushed on for years, so when Reid offers seduction lessons in exchange for 24/7 conditioning for the biggest fight of his career, Lucie jumps at the chance.
Soon Reid finds himself in the fight of his life…winning Lucie’s heart before she gives it to someone else.
Miss Riki’s Review:
When it comes to novels in Entangled’s Brazen line, readers have an expectation of a certain quality writing and alpha male hero. Seducing Cinderella takes both of those elements and ups the ante with an adorable plot that is sure to please romance fans.
I’m a sucker for the best-friend-of-the-brother falling for the little sister trope, and in this book, Reid is the best friend of the brother and Lucie is the clueless little sister. Together they have incredible chemistry and a sweet countenance with one another. Lucie tries to stay strong and keep their arrangement strictly professional, but with a man as hot as Reid, things get complicated real fast. That complication makes for a great storyline that captured my attention and kept me riveted right up until the final grand gesture that had me swooning.
The book is steamy to say the least, with sizzling chemistry between Reid and Lucy, but it’s also quite sweet, with Reid’s bad boy exterior breaking down to show a vulnerable side. Lucie grows as a character from beginning to end and I rooted for her every step of the way.
If you’re looking for a quick, fun read filled with swoon-worthy moments and steamy scenes to keep you on your feet, grab a copy of Seducing Cinderella.
