Regular readers of Refreshingly Riki have already heard me gush about how much I love the Backstage Pass series from Entangled Publishing, and today I am super excited to be a part of the official Blog Tour for the latest release in this awesome series. DAISY AND THE FRONT MAN by Rebekah Purdy picks up right where the first two books left off, introducing readers to front man Trevin, from the fictional boy band, Seconds to Juliet. Keep reading for all of the details about the book, along with my formal review!
About DAISY AND THE FRONT MAN:
Hell hath no fury like a fangirl scorned…
When Daisy Morris finds out she’s spending the summer with her dad, bodyguard for Seconds to Juliet—the hottest boy band around—she knows it couldn’t be more perfect. But not because she’s a fan. Oh, no. Because ever since front man Trevin Jacobs completely humiliated her by standing her up for homecoming, Daisy is out for a little revenge. Yup, Trevin Jacobs is goin’ down…
When one of his bandmates bets Trevin he can’t make Daisy—the gorgeous but surprisingly ice-cold daughter of their bodyguard—fall in love with him, it’s a bet he can’t resist. Sure, Daisy won’t give him the time of day for reasons he can’t understand, and her dad’s hell-bent against his little girl spending time with a superstar. But the terms are set, and Trevin is determined to make Daisy fall…hard.
But every front man should know never to trust a girl with a pretty face…
This Entangled Teen Crush book contains adult language, sexual situations, and seriously hot boys. It may cause swoony daydreams involving a certain super-cute front man.

Miss Riki’s Review:
I’m a huge fan of the Backstage Pass series from Entangled Publishing, and this latest addition from Rebekah Purdy fits right in and met the high expectations set by the previous authors.
From the very beginning, I was 100% behind Daisy, who has been holding a terrible grudge against Trevin since he stood her up for Homecoming after she won a contest. Seriously, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and Daisy is hell-bent on getting back at Trevin and making him pay for what he has put her through.
There’s only one problem- Trevin is totally swoon worthy and a gentleman in every way! Despite the fact that Trevin is wonderful to Daisy when they meet on the tour, he doesn’t remember her from the contest and has no idea she is out to get him. Like typical boys, his band mates make a bet that Trevin can make Daisy fall for him, and then the stage is then set for mishap and trouble.
With two absolutely realistic and well-rounded main characters and some wonderful cameos from boys in the band we have already come to love, this book was pure joy to read. With every tangled moment of deceit and outpouring of teen emotion, I was more and more hooked on the outcome. The story is totally sweet and just a little bit sexy and hits every high note along the way. Readers will adore the boys of Seconds to Juliet, and Trevin himself has so many endearing qualities that make him such an integral part of the group.
What I’ve loved so much about the books in this series is that the girls all have agency of their own. They might very well be rabid fans of the band in one way or another, but they also have dreams and ambitions beyond dating a rock star and they feel like girls that I’d want my own teen daughters to be friends with. Daisy is no exception. She’s not just any little fangirl. She’s smart and fun and has a whole lot going for her in DAISY AND THE FRONT MAN. I loved her to pieces.
This was a delightful read that will appeal to teens and adults alike. Anyone who has ever loved a band, felt the scorn of rejection, or fallen in love will relate to Trevin and Daisy’s story.
